At Geoffrey Doig-Marx Designs, our mission is to create innovative performance apparel that supports the health, longevity, and peak performance of dancers, athletes, and active individuals. Drawing from firsthand experience and years of observation, we are committed to solving real-world movement challenges through thoughtful design, functional technology, and a deep understanding of the human body.
More than a decade ago, an idea emerged from a common problem seen across dance studios, training facilities, and athletic environments: hamstring injuries. As one of the most frequently injured muscle groups, the hamstrings are constantly called upon for explosive movement, flexibility, and endurance, yet they often cool more rapidly than other areas of the body. This imbalance can increase vulnerability to strains and setbacks that interrupt performance and recovery.
In response, Geoffrey Doig-Marx Designs developed Tech Tight™, a specialized performance apparel line dedicated to targeted muscle support and injury prevention. Its flagship product, Shorty Shorts™, features a strategically engineered neoprene panel positioned at the upper hamstring, helping to retain warmth in a critical area that is continuously engaged during movement. By maintaining muscle readiness and supporting optimal performance conditions, Shorty Shorts™ are designed to help dancers and athletes move with greater confidence and reduced risk of injury.
Our vision is to bridge the gap between athletic performance, injury prevention, and apparel innovation.
